The Motherhood Journey Newsletter Week 11
Does your life look like the Gentiles?
“Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.” Eph 4:17
Hello sweet Mummas,
Welcome to the week… a day late. But all is well for we can always pick our selves up at any time and SMASH IT!!!! Go do a dance if you need to mumma, to take away the dreadgery and downcast-ness that can creep in on a mundane (especially overcast) day!! This is a little key I use all the time….. put on music and dance. The humility of it breaks down your soul, and brings out a childlike joy that will change your day! Go - and then come back…. ;)
Lets connect…..
Real Life in the motherhood journey:
This week we had fun homeschool days, fun baking times, (can you see a pattern in the emails - we keep things pretty simple and slow around here hehe) but also had a few fun trips (like to a science museum which the kids loved) and we had very dear friends come stay with us over the weekend which was SO enriching!!! We also had some hair cuts which made our little boys look so BIG… and we had a visit from a kanga (can you spot it below) Here are pics … enjoy!

Walking in His truth:
The bible verse for this week is such a beautiful reminder that we as people of God ARE DIFFERENT. We are not supposed to function, make decisions like or look like those around us. If we are not feeling like we are different at all, then maybe something needs to change. If you continue reading down from this verse it talks about how the people of the world are alienated from God. But WE are not. We instead have learned Christ and so we actively, daily and intensionally ‘putt of’ our old ways and self and then ‘put on’ the new gifts, graces and empowerments of what life with Chirst looks like. I encourage you to find a moment where you can read the rest of chapter 4 today and be refreshed in the truth that we can and should be renewing our minds to not match what the word says.
Is there any area mumma that feels life less? draining or even destructive?Which you are kinda avoiding doing anything about? You have got this mumma! Everything you need has actually been laid out before you. We just need to change the way we see. Seeing through the lens of God, holding close to Him and letting Him be the life force in us is a beautiful journey of surrender, humility and vulnerability.
Our issue is not that we don’t have. We just need to learn how to recieve.
Love always
