Command our Souls to Come under Submission of the Spirit.
“I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.” Psalms 27:13-14
Hello sweet Mummas,
Welcome to this week! Ready to have fun with your kiddos? Ready to step out of overwhelm and command our souls to come under submission of the Spirit. I sure am. In that place I no longer have to be good enough and instead I can just be. Be His. Be the mumma I want to be. Be free from myself.
Our kiddos are sweet little champions who are looking around for a leader, looking around for someone to mimic, looking around for affirmation. I can promise you mummas that even though a small (or maybe big) voice may wana say… “ahhh its just too much” there is another voice in their saying, “I have just what I need. for my well house overflows from the heavens where there is always enough.”Let’s take a drink from that wellhouse first mummas and then be ready to BE.
Real Life in the motherhood journey:
A little glimpse from our week!
This week was a whirlwind because of my car! Now this may seem like a very normal event, but it was one turned around with faith. So lets have a little share… So on tuesday we were (finally) picking up my car from an hour and a half away after many months (maybe 6-9 i cant remember. We had absolutely no car (for around 3 months) and then I went into learning manual in my husbands very old Troopy and then buying ‘my’ mumma car, with it dying a few days later. After that it then sat around for months waiting for finances, parts and mechanics to see it. Finally it was done, a few thousand dollars later and on the car ride home it had the same issue that it went in for. We realised we had spent alot of money and time fixing the wrong part. And in fact, there was something else wrong that was missed. I say all this to share - my husband and I processed through the power of release and reminding ourselves that time and money where not our idol. In the end, its just a car, and its just money. Its a vehicle to bring Gods righteous people to where God wants them and He will provide in whatever capacity that takes. This week was a big one in that area, but brought up SO much fruit, clearing out areas of our hearts that needed it and a renewed focus on having faith in God to provide in all times! Here are pics from the week:

Walking in His truth:
In this God spot I want to share an encouraging passage that my husband and I were blessed by this weekend while He took a couple of days off down the coast to connect with the Father and fast. Psalms 27 is truely a keeper in so many ways.
I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
This passage is a deep connection with God through the emotion of things feeling hard. He touches on so many important and powerful points (i encourage you to go read it!). Something we really got from it, is that David connected with God in such a real way, sharing the truth of God (He is my light and salvation), sharing His desire, “Your heart Lord will I seek”, sharing his frustrations, “turn not your servant away in anger”, he shares his struggles, “ false witnesses rise against me” and THEN He says His resolve which is FAITH (the above verse. confidence and hope).
May we mummas be real with God, break and cry about the hardships in motherhood. May we come to Him continually prioritising to be seeking His face. Acknowledging that FALSE witnesses in our minds truely do come up against us. BUT WE stand firm, being confident God is our hope and help. Commanding our flesh and soul to come under submission of the Holy Spirit that leads. Calm your emotions and let the Spirit lead you.
Love always
