The Motherhood Journey Newsletter Week 15

Announcement + He understand our weakness - and draws us close!

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin” Hebrews 4:15

Hello sweet Mummas,

Welcome to this space! And to your week as a mummmaaaaa !! What a joy it is to be here! Being a mum is SO much fun and LOTS of hard work. What a perfect combo - everything you were designed to be. It is so good to be reminded and loosen up to have more fun in your days. Its also SO good for your heart, mind and soul to work hard with your hands onto the Lord - with integrity and choice! Growing love in our own hearts for our children to beautifully see. Sometimes a journey of vulnerability and many mistakes. God knew this - and so He made children verrry forgiving! and so welcome!d

Announcement - if you didn’t see over at Instagram - I have started a YOUTUBE Chanel all about Homeschooling!! Check it out:

The motherhood Journey - School house!

I have wanted for so long to share my journey of homeschooling and give very practical tips to help equip Aussie mums. This all came for a place of feeling SO overwhelmed and unsure without much help when I first started. If you are not a homeschool mumma, dont worry. All my other spaces will still remain all about all aspects of motherhood!

Real Life in the motherhood journey:

These last (two) weeks have been a little different for me as I have had an injured foot most of the time. which has meant sitting around with my leg raised with an ice pack over it (while 4 children run around me haha). the previous week I was pretty much sitting the majority of the time. The second week I was hobbling around and washing dishes while kneeling on a stool. Thankfully I am totally recovered now. But it was a good because I am pretty productive alot of the time and so it was good to take a slower pace, and learn how to be content living in a very different way. Outside of this, we have had fun playdates, had friend visit from out of town and enjoy lots of slow calm family time.

Get some ideas!

Dinners we have for this next fortnight (we get groceries delivered to our friends property each fortnight… because they dont offer it to where we live. We do this as there is no main grocery story around here).

Walking in His truth:

Lets read around the line of todays bible verse:

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[f] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

I have been so blessed by this verse in my last week. Sometimes we can feel seperate from God (in our own minds) because of His holiness and because we cant tangibly touch Him. This verse is SO empowering of the truth that Jesus SO understand how weak we are. How helpless we can feel and the emotions amongst our failure. He is kind and tender and allows us in close when we feel the most ugliest. I am so thankful for His kindness in the midst of this motherhood journey. I love His heart that He simple desires humility, not perfection. And I love that His desire for us is to live a life held up and wrapped up in GRACE. Not self effort or self achievement. But in humility and Him taking the lead. Him being the hero. Not us.

We get to have confidence in what we face because we have FULL access to Him and His goodies in the heavenly realms. He wants us to find mercy and grace in our times of need. and see Him once again soar in His beauty!

Love always
