Hello sweet Mummas,

Hiiiiiiiiii! Welcome to this space. As always your welcome here with boggers in your hair and little paint finger marks on your pants. You are also welcome here if your house is sparkling and you are enjoying a coffee in the sun. Ah the joys of all the aspects of motherhood we hold in our hands. All mixed up together makes something truely beautiful. Kinda like creation. We look around and see beauty + magnificence all mixed up in a balance of chaos and order. Lord make us willing, bring us to our knees in surrender with hands open knowing all hope truely only comes from you!

AND you are willing! Always. YAY. Ahhhhh ….. So lovely you are Lord!

A little glimpse from our week!

Okay dokies, so not much has occurred since our last email on Friday. However Hazels baby doll did arrive - missy kissy! Who she is inlove with and this morning told me she loves it more than anything in this house… “including you mum” she says. I give a shocked face and she replies, “Alright mum I like you second”. As if that makes things better hahaha. Other then that I had a solo weekend as Brad went away to a bucks and it was great, super chill. The kids actually decided to create their own journals to Jesus while I was doing mine and so we sat in the sun for the morning and they each (Hazel, Noah and Kai) wrote their own workings to God (photo included!). Such sweet moments in motherhood.

Homeschool Spot: What are we using Next year for school:

For Kindergarten and Year 2! (AH offically schooling two years next year!)

Maths: The Good and the Beautiful Maths K + Math 2
English: The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts K + 2 (covers english, geography, art)

PDHPE, History, Geography, Art: Child lead, Project based on NSW curriculum ideas

Science: My mum (exteacher) creates Science activities and lessons based on the curriculum! They are amazing!!

Its super simple and relaxed. We make sure we do our book work (math + english) most days of the week and then the rest of the subjects get blended into our group time at morning tea and pulled out when time allows. Very organic, the kids learn above and beyond the standard in each of these extra activities through life and mum having a few ideas up her sleeve!

Walking in His truth:

Eeeeeeep I love todays verse! What a great kick in the butt it is! Who am I trying to please each day? Me? The mum next to me? The person I am inspired by? ORRRR even lies in my head that make me feel guilty? wow!

let’s read it again: “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

This verse inspires me so much because;
1. God is already pleased with me!! I am currently while typing this email clean because of the word He has spoken to me (John 15:3) I am righteous because of His blood alone (Romans 5:9) and welcomed with peace to come to Him boldly (Hebrews 4:16). Before I do anything I am all good because I am all HIS.
2. When I realise in motherhood and daily life that the only one I am trying to please is the one who delights in me, all pressure if off. instead of pressure there isn’t apathy though. There is something much greater. Empowerment and a belief that you can be even greater and more life filled than you are currently functioning in now. No comparision, just pure organic growth with the Kindest King!

Let’s live mummas in a way that is SO held by grace and so pushed along by the empowerment of His spirit that our eyes are not on approval, people pleasing or comparison. Instead they are safe and secure. Lifted high to a life of joy from the well spring of life HIMSELF!!
